Joseph Meyer began his career as a registered representative in 1972 and by 1976 was a self-employed stock market investment strategist and professional equity trader. In 1989, Meyer and Associates, a management consulting company was formed. Mr. Meyer was approved as a security arbitrator with the NYSE in 1996 and by the NASD the following year. His expertise in investment and securities matters led him to a television career as a guest expert on the local ABC News station. In 2001, Mr. Meyer became an advisor to ABC News in matters relating to Shareholder Rights involving investor disputes. For the last four years, Mr. Meyer's expert knowledge has been recognized nationally with guest appearances on both radio and television. Mr. Meyer has lectured extensively and published in several industry-recognized journals, which include Journal of Business Finance and Law, Buy/Sell Magazine, and Wall Street Journal. He continues to mediate and act as an Expert Witness in litigation.
