Evelyn Browning Garriss: Increasing Drought Conditions In Parts Of US and China
The La Niña Phenomenon Expected to Fade by Spring

Jim welcomes back Evelyn Browning Garriss of the Browning Newsletter. Evelyn sees a continuation of the drought conditions in southern sections of the US and China. Evelyn notes the weather ahead may present problems for spring planting and challenges for Western water supplies this summer.
Evelyn has been working on the Browning Newsletter for the past 25 years and has been the head writer and editor for the past 20. She has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Business News Network, Canada's Globe and Mail, Financial Sense and numerous other media outlets. She is known as "The Weather Lady" in Canada and has given presentations from Singapore to London, and throughout North America on climate and its effect on the world. This week Evelyn discusses how she believes we’ve reached a climate tipping point, and why massive climate disruption lies ahead. She also discusses two huge weather "shapers" that are in the process of going away, the La Nina pattern and the Arctic Oscillation pattern.
