This week Jim and Cathlyn discuss an important issue in many retirement plans; a second home. It’s estimated that about 40% of Baby Boomers are planning on second homes. For many, a second home – usually a vacation home- is a big part of how they view their retirement years. But without adequate forethought and planning, many second homes can turn out to be more of a nightmare than a dream. Jim and Cathlyn discuss the concept of second homes in depth, and suggest ways to look at the issue rationally. The guest this week is Herb Schultz, Regional Director of the US Dept. of Health and Human Services. He will discuss Obamacare; who will be able to participate in the exchanges, as well as the cost variables.
