Ralph Bullis's Blog

Ralph has had over 40 years in the mining business. Currently self-employed as a geological consultant, he was employed by Echo Bay Mines for 17 years until 2003. At that time he was Director, Resource Evaluations and Director, Exploration and was responsible for approving all company reserve statements.

Prior to Echo Bay, he was with Cominco for 11 years with the last 5 of those years at the Con gold mine in Yellowknife.

He has worked extensively internationally and countries worked in include: Canada, USA, Mexico, Italy, UK, Guyana, Peru, Chile, Brazil, Ghana, Suriname, French Guiana, Burkina Faso, the Sakha Republic (semiautonomous region of ex-USSR), Philippines and Zimbabwe.

He has been a member of NAPEG since 1982 and was made a Fellow of Geoscientists Canada in 2013.

Ralph is active in community volunteer projects as well as international projects and has flown as a volunteer search and rescue pilot with CASARA for 15 years.
