Simon A Mikhailovich
Simon Mikhailovich is a Co-Founder of Eidesis Capital LLC, a New York-based specialty investment management firm focused on contrarian and opportunistic investment strategies. The firm was founded in 1998 and has developed an approach based on formulating a strong macro thesis and then selecting specific instruments to profit from it. Since formation, Eidesis has been successful in anticipating key cyclical turning points and executing a number of contrarian absolute return strategies, including distressed CDOs and Residential Mortgage Backed Securities, short corporate credit and precious metals. Eidesis has been on record about the impending financial crisis since 2006 and its current strategy seeks to profit from insights into the state of the global financial institutions and credit markets.
Prior to 1998, Mr. Mikhailovich was at Falcon Asset Management for thirteen years managing a $250 million portfolio of private high-yield and mezzanine securities and a $400-million alternative investment portfolio. Mr. Mikhailovich received a M.S. in Business (Finance) from the University of Baltimore and a B.S. from Johns Hopkins University.
