Biography
Tom Cammack is an experienced investment professional. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Tom started investing personally in the 1970s and has worked as an investment/fund manager with the Teacher Retirement System of Texas for the past 20 years. He has traveled extensively and invested in all types of companies in various parts of the world. Tom previously worked in the Farm Credit System for 12 years as a bank examiner and commercial loan officer.
Tom's recommendation to buy precious metals is not a recent event. He began purchasing gold and recommending gold to his friends in the year 2000 when the gold price was below $300/ounce. Tom is an avid reader of monetary history and current events.
Tom has an undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University and a graduate degree from Texas A&M University. He is past president of the CFA Society of Austin, Texas.
