Jeffrey Hirsch Says “Super Boom” Forecast Still in Play

  • Print

FS Insider interviews Jeffrey Hirsch, editor of Stock Trader’s Almanac and Chief Market Strategist at Probabilities Fund, to get an update on his market outlook, including a brief overview of the five different market components he tracks—psychological, fundamental, technical, monetary, and seasonal. Hirsch explains why he believes 2018 will still be a decent year for the market, why investors should expect a volatile summer, and, lastly, reiterates his long-term thesis that we are in the midst of a secular bull market and how that relates to the “super boom” forecast he originally gave in 2010, a year after the market’s last major bottom.
