Betsy is an internationally recognized expert in philanthropy. She is the co-founder and President of Strategic Philanthropy, Ltd., a Multi-Family Philanthropic Office® working with ultra-high net worth individuals, families and family-owned businesses founded in 2000.
Since the firm’s beginning in 2000, Strategic Philanthropy, Ltd., has made educating and supporting the advisor community around integrating philanthropy into their practice a priority. To ensure successful partnerships with advisors, the firm remains conflict-free, donor-centric and vehicle agnostic. The focus is on helping clients to create and implement lifetime and legacy strategies that achieve impact and align with their passions.
A large part of the firm’s work centers around helping families integrate values and philanthropic interests across generations. Strategic Philanthropy, Ltd. has a strong international presence as well. This is reinforced by Betsy’s role as a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and as Co-Chair of STEP’s Philanthropy Special Interest Group.
