Larry Hicks is Information Officer for Covered California since May 2013. Larry fields media communication, including ethnic media and outreach education, public documents and enrollment and eligibility programs.

With a BA in Journalism from CSU Sacramento, Larry was editor at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution from 2006 – 2012, and reporting editor with the Sacramento Bee from 1986 – 2006, covering issues in a range of categories, to include business (banking, technology, small business), local government, police beat, and sports.
