Economic Perspectives is a UK-based consultancy, directed by Dr Peter Warburton. Formed in 1996, the company offers independent thinking and perspectives on global macroeconomic and financial issues that are topical and relevant to investors and decision-makers in business.

Our consultancy has a strong empirical focus, interpreting recent economic and financial developments with a view to providing excellent advice to clients.

Peter Warburton has been engaged in economic forecasting since 1975 when he joined the Econometric Forecasting Unit at The London Business School.

He has worked as a researcher, lecturer, broking economist and economic adviser. He joined Messel & Co (now Lehmans) in 1986 and Robert Fleming (now JP Morgan) in 1989.

He is the author of Debt and Delusion, a critical analysis of the uses and abuses of debt in the financial system, first published in 1999.
