Douglas Benedict is a retired Canadian investment advisor of 33 years, managing assets in excess of $70 million, educated at the University of Victoria, B.C., Canada. Born 1957 in Boston, Doug immigrated to Toronto and became a naturalized Canadian citizen at age 10, losing his U.S. citizenship. Doug had his TD Waterhouse trading accounts frozen on assumption of U.S. citizenship, based on a U.S. birthplace listed on his Canadian passport.
