Leanne Baker PhD

Dr. Leanne M. Baker, of Sebastopol, California, is President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Sutter Gold Mining, which is building the first new underground gold mine in the California Mother Lode in more than 50 years. She is the former managing director of Investor Resources LLC, which consulted to companies in the mining and financial services industries. In the 1990s, Dr. Baker was employed by Salomon Smith Barney where she was one of the top-ranked mining sector equity analysts in the United States. Dr. Baker is a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines (M.S. and Ph.D. in mineral economics). Dr. Baker is a director of Agnico-Eagle Mines, McEwen Mining, Reunion Gold Corporation and Kimber Resources Inc., all public companies.
