Dec 21 – It's the season to be jolly unless you're an investor. Instead of a Santa Claus rally we got the Fed becoming the Grinch who stole Christmas. On Wall Street and for investors, it looks like there will be no 'ho ho ho' this Christmas as falling stock prices and rising volatility spread gloom in living rooms across the country. After meeting this week, the Fed announced it would increase interest rates by a quarter of a point as expected.
